These terms govern your use of the SheetTidy add-on for Google Sheets™ and this website. By installing or using SheetTidy, you agree to them. They are written in plain language on purpose. If something here is unclear, ask us and we'll explain it.
SheetTidy is provided by Husain Mohamed Alalawi (“we”, “us”), of Building 2591, Road 433, Block 704, Salmabad, Kingdom of Bahrain. You can reach us at sheettidy@gmail.com.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use SheetTidy for your own purposes or those of your employer, subject to these terms. You do not own the software; you are permitted to use it.
A paid licence is tied to a single Google account and works in every spreadsheet that account opens. Please don't share licence keys.
The free version includes every tool and works on spreadsheets up to 250 rows. We may change that limit for future users, but we will not reduce it for anyone who already holds a paid licence.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who act as merchant of record. Prices are shown at checkout and include any taxes they are required to collect.
If SheetTidy isn't right for you, email us within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund you in full. You don't have to give a reason.
This is in addition to any statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation you may have where you live. If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content within 14 days, and nothing in these terms removes it.
SheetTidy does not send your spreadsheet content anywhere. See the privacy policy for exactly what is and isn't stored.
Some of SheetTidy's tools permanently delete rows, columns and cell contents, and changes made by a Google Sheets™ add-on cannot be undone with Ctrl+Z.
SheetTidy offers to copy the current tab before any destructive action, and this option is switched on by default. If you switch it off, or work on data you have no other copy of, you accept the risk of losing it. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.
SheetTidy is provided “as is”. We have tested it and we use it ourselves, but we do not promise that it will be free of bugs, available without interruption, or suitable for any particular purpose. It depends on Google Sheets™ and Google Apps Script, which are outside our control and may change.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with SheetTidy is limited to the amount you have paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim arose.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, or loss or corruption of data, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
We intend to keep SheetTidy running. If we ever discontinue it, we will give at least 60 days' notice on this website, stop charging renewals immediately, and refund the unused portion of any yearly plan. Holders of a lifetime licence will not be charged again and can continue using the last released version for as long as Google supports it.
You may stop using SheetTidy at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these terms — for example by sharing licence keys or circumventing the licensing system. If we do, we will tell you why, and refund any unused portion of a paid plan unless the breach was deliberate.
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page will change, and we will not apply material changes retroactively to a purchase you have already made. Continuing to use SheetTidy after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the courts of Bahrain have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
SheetTidy is an independent product. It is not created by, affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Google LLC. Your use of Google Sheets™ is governed by your own agreement with Google.
